In Guns We Trust’ depicts the USA’s fatal attractions to guns. Being a mother of three school going children myself, here in the USA every mom’s school biggest nightmare is school shooting and any mom can go to any extent to keep our kids safe. Every year 1300 children die from guns and our politicians are incapable to tackle the gun control issues.
Americans get paranoid to the extreme about foreign terrorism but have almost been numb towards the gun-related brutalities committed on a regular basis by their own citizens.
From the drawing ‘The Battle of Anghiari’, I picked the soldier who has a furious smirk on his face and converted him into a mysterious dragon-like creature, who leaves the edges to come center stage, his ceremonial sword staying in the scabbard as he reaches for machine guns and revolver.

Its been referred to mighty NRA (National Rifle Association) in USA- all powerful and in complete control. The Ram head on the soldier’s lap reminds me of those Republican lawmakers including congressmen and senators who are held hostage by NRA paranoia, while a toppling crown is a miniature U.S. capitol.
